Orders
Buying something on NORDINARY is easy – just follow these steps:
1. Browse through our store to find your favourite pieces from independent brands and craft artists.
2. Add the products that you want to buy to your cart and click on checkout.
3. You can checkout as a guest or have the information automatically filled out if you have shopped with us before.
4. On our store, you can pay with all major credit card providers, as well as PayPal, ApplePay, Google Pay, and ShopPay.
5. Once you have paid and submitted your order, you will receive and order confirmation e-mail and you can look forward to receiving your order.
After you have completed your order and checked out, we will send you an email confirmation. If you have not received an e-mail, please feel free to contact us and we'll be happy to find out the status on your order.
Your order can be cancelled as long as it has not been packed and shipped yet. If it has already been shipped, you can return your order within 14 days after you have received the package.
For made to order products, you cannot cancel the order once the artists has begun to craft the product for you.
If you wish to make changes to your order, this is usually possible before the product has been shipped or crafted. Please contact us if you want to change your order.
You can see the status of your order on your customer account – you just need to enter your email and can see all your orders.
Additionally, we send you updates about the order once it reaches a new step via e-mail.
On each product page, you can find the information on when we expect the product to be delivered. As some of our products are made to order, it takes longer until you receiev them - but they will be made for you.
When you place an order through NORDINARY, you buy directly from the brand and you products are also shipped from their location.
Shopping through NORDINARY allows you to have a worry-free experience: We take care that everything goes smoothly with your order. If something goes wrong or you haven't received your order, we guarantee that you will get a replacement order or get your money back.
Payment
We accept all major credit card providers (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express), as well as PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay.
During the checkout, you can use your promo code. The field to enter the code can be found below the order summary showing all products in your basket. Once you have entered a valid promo code, you'll see the price change.
You can pay in all currencies present in the EU. Just make sure to select the right country and currency in our store, so you can see all prices and check out in the wished currency.
As you purchase the products directly from the brand or artists, there might be different tax rates when you order from different brands/artists, for example, when one of them is VAT-exempted
Delivery & Returns
We offer free shipping for all orders over 300€.
For order below 300€, we charge 10€ per vendor in your order - no matter where the package comes from or where you are located in the EU.
You can see the vendor of each product on the product page below the name of the product.
In most cases, we use DHL Express to ensure the best experience for you. They will take care of a quick and safe delivery directly to your door. You can also choose different delivery methods based on your preference (e.g. package shop, neighbour, etc.).
In some cases, we will use other companies. In any case, we use only qualified delivery firms and compensate you in case you should not receive your package.
Yes, as we deliver primarily with DHL Express you will get your orders straight to your door. Of course, if you wish to have your package delivered somewhere else, you can choose that through DHL's portal. They will send the relevant information once the package is on its way.
In case, your order is sent through another firm, this might differ. You will get all the information sent once your order is on its way.
As the brands and artists send directly from their location, you will receive multiple packages if your order included products from different brands/artists. Usually, you will receive a package for each brand/artist.
At NORDINARY, we offer free returns up to 14 days from the date you have received your products. All items must be returned back to the brand/artist in the original packaging and condition that they were delivered in. If a product has been customized for you, it cannot be returned.
To return a package, please use our courier agreement with DHL Express to ensure the package arrives safely – we'l provide you with the shipping label once we have accepted your return request.
To start a return request, please use your customer account or contact us directly and we'll be happy to help you. Please not that your request has to be submitted within the 14 days return window.
To return the package, you need to apply the label we've sent via email on the package, ensure that the label from the previous shipment is not visible anymore, and pack all products safely – if a product is nor packed properly and becomes damaged, we cannot offer full refunds. Finally, you need to close the package with tape. We ask you to use the same package, the products arrived in.
Once you have prepared everything, you need to bring your package to your closest package shop servicing the company of the return label (usually DHL) and it will be sent directly to the brand/artist.
Once the brand/artist has received the products and confirms that they are new and undamaged, we will refund the returned product. Please note that it can take up to 10 days until the transfer is complete and you can see the refunded amount on your bank account.
Please note that if you want to return products from different vendors, you need to send them separately with different labels as each brand takes their own products back.
No, at NORDINARY all prices are including taxes, duties, and customs charges – so you don't have to worry about that. You don't need to pay anything after you have ordered your product.
As our brands & artists come from all across Europe, delivery times can vary. Normally, we expect between 2-6 days once the products have been dispatched.
Please not when a product is made to order, it will take longer until you receive your product. If a product is made to order, it will be stated on the product page and you can see the expected crafting time and delivery date.
Products
At NORDINARY, you can discover unique interior and home decor pieces made by independent brands and talented artists. From handmade ceramics and colorful glassware to cozy textiles and beautiful lighting, we offer items that bring a personal touch to your space.
Most products come assembled. There are a few products where you need to assemble the last pieces and the instructions are included in the package. If you should be stuck or haven't received instructions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
Currently, we only sell online and don't have a physical showroom. If you need any more information about products, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
At NORDINARY, our transparency labels help you understand what makes each piece special as they give you a closer look at each item’s story and impact, making it easier to find pieces that align with your values.
They share details like how an item is crafted, the materials used, and whether it’s handmade, made-to-order, or produced in small batches. With these labels, you can feel confident in knowing what goes into each unique piece you choose from NORDINARY.
Customer Account
With a NORDINARY customer account, you can easily see the status of your orders, view previous orders, and request returns. Additionally, it allows you to check out easier when you order again.
You can access or create your account easily through account.shopnordinary.com.
Please note that in order to see your orders in your customer account, you need to be logged in with the same email as used for your purchase.
No, you can also shop as a guest. However, we recommend to create an account as you can easily see all your orders. Creating an account only requires an email and your access code will be sent to your inbox.
You just need to go to our account portal or click on the profile icon in the menu bar and enter your email. Then you need to enter the access code that will be sent to your inbox and you're logged into your account.
Please note that in order to see your orders in your customer account, you need to be logged in with the same email as used for your purchase.
